Overview
Hospitals depend on knowing who each patient is, where every bed and queue stands, and why each decision was made. Most see their own operation through systems they do not control. Records, billing, laboratory and imaging come from different vendors, each keeps its own copy of the patient, and none shows the hospital as it is right now.
Opsian gives the hospital its data back. An ingestion layer reads from the systems already in place, a vendor-agnostic canonical schema resolves each patient, bed and order to one record, and an intelligence layer and workflow engine run processes inside rules the hospital sets. Hospital-owned applications then take on work in phases, observing first, running in shadow before writing anything back, and leaving core clinical systems until last.
What we solve
Data locked inside vendor systems
The hospital waits on vendor exports and change requests to see its own data, so every new report or workflow change becomes a project.
One patient, many records
Registration, laboratory, pharmacy and billing each hold their own version of the patient, and duplicates surface only when something goes wrong.
Beds and queues nobody can see
Bed status, discharge progress and outpatient queues are tracked by phone and whiteboard, so patients wait while capacity sits idle.
Evidence gathered after the fact
When an inspection asks who opened a record, who was on a ward or why a decision was made, the answer comes from scattered logs, paper and memory.
