Overview
RoomOS is the tablet in the guest room. From one screen a guest can set the lights, temperature, curtains and television, ask housekeeping or maintenance for help, request food and drink, chat with the property's AI concierge, find places nearby, check the bill and check out.
Each tablet is bound to a single room, so every request arrives with the room already attached. Service requests reach staff as tickets, sleep and wake scenes change several settings at once, and express checkout opens the night before departure with a review of charges and a short declaration that helps staff close the folio.
RoomOS runs as a full-screen web app on in-room Android tablets and sits on the same Opsian platform as the staff side. The room's state is also available to Opsian AI Agents through the same governed tool layer they use for everything else.

Questions
- Does the guest need to download anything?
- No. The tablet is already in the room and bound to it, so there is no app to install and no account to create.
- What can a guest control from the tablet?
- Lights, temperature, curtains and the television, one at a time or through sleep and wake scenes. Each tablet sends commands for its own room only.
- When can a guest check out from the room?
- Express checkout opens at 11pm the night before departure. Before then, the tablet directs the guest to the front desk.
