Overview
Stoa runs the counter, the table and the treatment room. It takes orders, collects payments, tracks stock and records who did what for restaurants, bars, shops, spas and hotel outlets, from one system rather than a different one in every outlet.
In a hotel, every outlet is part of the guest's stay. Stoa checks that a guest is in house before a charge is posted to their room, writes it to the folio in the property management system as itemised lines, and keeps the receipt with it, so the bill at checkout matches what was served.
Every sale moves the rest of the operation with it. Items and ingredients are deducted from stock, voids and discounts are recorded against the staff member who approved them, and each day closes with a reconciled drawer and a summary posted to the accounting system.

Accounting and reporting
Tax and service charge applied consistently, a daily close for each outlet, and sales, payments and stock movements posted to accounting.
