Identity verification

ENTRIX

Guest identity verification and self check-in, in production at hotels in Thailand.

Overview

ENTRIX checks a guest in without a queue at the desk. The guest finds their booking, scans a passport or ID card and takes a short live selfie; once the checks pass, a door code is issued and sent to them in their own language.

It runs in production with RQ | Opsian at RoomQuest properties in Thailand, including Ratchada, where it also prepares the guest registration record Thai immigration requires. Staff oversee every arrival from one dashboard and step in only when a case needs a person.

ENTRIX works on top of the property's existing booking system and door locks rather than replacing them. Today it runs with Cloudbeds and TTLock, and each property sets its own verification rules.

Capabilities

Self check-in with identity verification

The guest's booking, passport or ID card, and a live selfie are checked in one short flow on a kiosk tablet.

Door access on verification

A door code is issued for the stay as soon as verification passes, and sent to the guest by email.

Registration records for Thailand

Guest details are prepared in the format of Thailand's TM30 immigration filing, so staff no longer re-key passports.

One staff console

Staff see every arrival, review exceptions with the evidence attached, and approve by hand when a case needs a person.

Questions

Do we need to replace our booking system or door locks?
No. ENTRIX works on top of the systems a property already runs. It is in production with Cloudbeds and TTLock, and further booking systems and locks connect through the same interfaces.
Which languages does it support?
The guest flow and the staff dashboard are available in English, Thai, Chinese, Russian and Burmese, and the check-in email follows the language the guest chose.
How is guest data handled?
Consent is recorded before any document or face is captured, and data handling is designed around Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act, with retention periods set per property.
