Overview
Opsian AI Agents take on the operational work that arrives all day: phone calls, guest messages, pre-arrival contact, in-stay requests, complaints, reviews, upgrade offers and post-stay follow-up. Each agent is set up from a plain-language template, tested before it goes live, and given the property's own documents to answer from.
What makes an agent usable in a real operation is the boundary around it. Agents act through a governed tool layer where every call is authenticated, scoped to the agent's role and property, rate limited and written to an audit log. Guest-facing agents receive masked values for sensitive data such as door codes, and the operator decides which topics always go to a person and how far an agent may go on its own.
The first agents are built for hotels, working on the reservations, rooms, folios and service tickets that Opsian's hospitality platform already manages.
Capabilities
Voice agents
Answer inbound calls in the caller's language, look up availability and reservations, and transfer to staff when a person is needed.
Guest messaging
One agent replies across web chat, LINE, WhatsApp and the in-room tablet, and passes the topics you name straight to staff.
Before and during the stay
Contact guests before check-in about verification and special requests, then raise service tickets and suggest local places during the stay.
Complaints and reviews
Acknowledge a complaint and open a ticket straight away, offer compensation only up to your limit, and draft review replies for approval.
Staff assistant
Helps staff look up reservations, draft messages and find their way around the platform.
Governed tools
Every tool call is authenticated, scoped to role and property, rate limited and logged, with sensitive fields masked for guest-facing agents.

Questions
- Can an agent act without a person approving it?
- Only inside the limits you set. You choose which topics always go to staff and how far an agent may go on its own, such as a ceiling on compensation, and replies to negative reviews always wait for approval.
- What can an agent see?
- Only what its role allows. Tools are scoped to the agent type and property, and guest-facing agents receive masked values for sensitive data such as door codes.
- Are the agents only for hotels?
- The first templates are built for hotels. The governed tool layer underneath is not specific to hospitality, and Opsian builds agents for other operations as part of its services.
