Medz Tattoo: a site as detailed as the work

Medz blends bold new-school design with detailed realism, and runs his own private studio, Vivid Colors Gallery, where he also mentors visiting artists. His work spread through social feeds, but a feed is a poor place to study a realism piece or to book one.

The brief was a site that matched the work: immersive, high contrast, portfolio first, with booking a single step from any page.

Eleven11 Digital, which delivers Opsian's small-business work in the United States, designed and built the site around the studio's neon signage and a black ground that lets the tattoo photography carry the colour. Type does the rest: a heavy grotesque for the name, an italic serif for the style, and short copy.

Every screen ends the same way, with a booking button. Enquiries arrive structured, with the placement, size and reference the artist needs to quote, so the back-and-forth before a session is shorter.
